Yokaimor is a piano-bass-drums trio based in Budapest. Their compositions combine influences from Scandinavian jazz, electronic music through to Hungarian folk and each one will take you on a unique narrative journey.
The trio formed in 2023 while studying at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. With their eclectic backgrounds, tastes and musical influences they are creating tunes which break beyond the formalities of the genres they love and have a universal appeal.
In 2024 concert highlights included playing at the Muveszetek Volgye (Artists’ Valley) Festival in Kapolcs and a set on the A38 Ship on the Danube, which was broadcast live on national television.
2025 dates include concerts at Jazz Picnic at Paloznak, Gombaszög Festival, etc.. They are currently working on their second album and planning concerts at home and abroad.
